Catastrophic wildfires annually scorch millions of acres of land in the west, claiming lives and destroying property. Homeowners and residents of the volatile wildland-urban interface (WUI), know that it isn’t a question of if these fire-prone areas will burn, but when. But losses to wildfire are not inevitable. Firescaping is a nonprofit dedicated to helping individuals and community organizations reduce their homes’ vulnerability to wildland fire with a cost-effective approach tailored to your individual needs.

Firescaping is a nonprofit organization headquartered in Los Angeles, California, whose goal is to partner with homeowners to create more fire resistant homes and neighborhood landscapes.

Firescaping was established to provide fire risk mitigation resources to homeowners and communities interested in preparing their homes and property for wildfire.

Contributions to Firescaping in the United States are fully tax-deductible to the extent provided by law. Firescaping relies on individual contributions from individuals and private organizations to keep providing services to local communities.
